I was glad to see that you offered a program called Carta a Papa Noel. It was most enjoyable.
In the United States, I loved celebrating Christmas as a child and then with my own children. But the truth is that I am 100% Jewish and I also celebrate Hannukah. While I have only lived here for5 years, I recognize that probably there are not enough Jewish people in Montevideo to even imagine the idea of a program within Oir con los Ojos related to Hannukah. Perhap, it would have been a sweet gesture if you mentioned one children’s book related to the story of Hannukah, or interviewed someone for only 3 or 4 minutes about it, but again I say that I understand how it might not be perceived as important enough or interesting enough given the demographics here. Indeed, since your resources in the world of books are far greater than mine, please contact me if you ever hear of a children’s book about the stories of Hannukah.
